Spam And Cream Of Mushroom Soup by Nizza Gueco

I'm addicted to Spam. I know, I know.. It's not healthy, it will make me fat and it has no nutrients. But hey, I still love it. Give me Spam everyday for 30 days and I'll still love it. :)

I love how it is salty and how different, it's taste becomes depending on how you cook it. Overcooked Spam tastes different than undercooked Spam, and I mean a total difference, not just because of the oil or something. And I almost forgot, I love the way Spam is versatile, I can cook a lot with it.

So, enough of my blah-blah introduction. Today I cooked Spam with mushroom sauce. Some of you might find it shallow that I blog about this simple recipe, but hey, I don't cook. You can't blame me for being happy with this when I'm not really a kitchen person.

So here goes, oh wait, just a reminder, this is not a recipe or a tutorial. I am just merely relaying what I did today.:) so here, I cut the Spam into cubes, maybe 1/2 inch cubes or smaller. For easy cutting, cut the Spam into 8 thick slices and cut each slice into 18 cubes. Divide by two and divide each half by 3. Too technical? Sorry. Cut it any way you want them.

So there, cook your Spam cubes until they are slightly brown. You can cook it longer if you want crispy Spam cubes.

I did not overcook mine because I like it soft. I don't want to ruin the sensation of eating mushroom sauce. I also loe mushroom sauce, I love it when it is paired with soft food.

When the Spam cubes have reached your desired color, pour in your cream of mushroom. I used Campbell's Cream of Mushroom. And add milk and water.

Stir until the cream f mushroom and the water and milk are totally combined. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes or just until it has reached a thick saucy consistency.

After that, just pour into your rice or transfer into a bowl or anywhere you want to place it.

Happy Eating!:)

Here are what I used

1/2 cup water
