Lemony Garlic Chicken by Nizza Gueco


It's been a while since I posted something related to food. Why is that? Because if you personally know me, you'll know that I don't know how to cook. I'd sooner set the kitchen on fire than be able to cook a decent meal.
That is one good reason why I am lucky with my husband, you see, he cooks and cleans the house, does the laundry and does about everything that has to be done, because I don't do those things. Spoiled bratty princess right?


So this time, I acted like I know how to cook and looked for something that I can cook that will guarantee that I won't set the kitchen on fire. I settled for something relatively easy but is not that common. I tried cooking Lemony Garlic Chicken. 

Here is a look of the final product. Pardon me for being proud of myself here, because I only cook eggs and I can't even cook them properly! Haha!



So, enough of that. Here is what I did.


I cooked some butter. I heard you can also use oil here, but it be less tasty than when you use butter, I think.



I added some chopped garlic and waited until it is somewhat light brown.



Then I added some sliced lemons, 


I placed the sliced chicken breast on top of the lemons.


And added the remaining lemons on top.


I covered it until the chicken turned white.


I flipped the chicken. I flipped it again after this, until it become golden brown.


Here is the final look. Just pour in the excess butter and garlic on your pan on top of your chicken.
